We attended the Texas Package Store Association (TPSA) event in San Antonio last weekend.
We wanted to remind you that RLAO will be putting on our first ever statewide trade show with TPSA’s show as our inspiration. Mark it in your calendar now. Set several reminders (if you are like me). Go on and make sure your store is staffed for MAY 4th, 2024 for this event. Owners and staff alike will be able to register.
The event will include classes and education, tastings, vendors booths, wholesalers will have products on display of all stripes; from liquor, beer and wine, to website providers, to shaker tin vendors. There will be a whole range of products, new and old favorites represented. Having been to TPSA’s show 2 years now…I cannot imagine why a store wouldn’t want to have all their staff there: An educated staff sells things better. A staff that has met a rep/owner seems to want to sell the products of the people they met. A staff that knows what things taste like, sell better, and achieve the ‘upsell.’
If we get only half of these reps/owners/vendors to show up that are verbally committed to come to Oklahoma next year, it should be a really fun (and BIG) event!
At any rate, plan on being in OKC at the new OKC Convention Center on May 4th. (easy to remember for you Star Wars Fans – May the 4th be with you). We also have a block of rooms at the adjacent Omni Hotel so that you do not need to drive anywhere after the event…because it ends with a huge blowout after-party upstairs in the ballroom!
This is awesome! Having attended 100’s of liquor store association shows (TPSA, MBDA, MMBA, BARC, etc), this will be a must attend event for liquor stores in OK.
